We've stayed almost 250 nights in a motorhome over the past six years and we've learned a lot, including what's practical to bring. We want our guests to have a good stay, so we rent out extra equipment.
Two comfortable positional chairs with slightly higher backs and two outdoor treated reindeer skins from the Keros family's tannery in Sattajärvi in Tornedalen.
If you want to bring your own fireplace! Easy to fold and fits in the motorhome garage.
Legs, "tub", chains and grill grates are included in the basic package.
Popcorn pot, waffle iron, sandwich iron, coffee pot, frying pan/muurikka
If you are free camping without the possibility to empty the toilet. As a benchmark, we can manage five people for about 24 hours before we need to empty / change the tank if we do not pee in the forest but only in the camper.
Perfect if you are camping for a longer period of time and do not want to move the motorhome to empty gray water.
Convenient if you are parked and do not want to move the motorhome to fill water.
Car seat that fits all our cars. A light and flexible car seat makes it easier in the motorhome where you may want to be able to remove it, for example at meals.
For the slightly older child.
Free but needs to be pre-booked.
Perfect if you are free camping several nights in the same place without the possibility of shore power or battery charging. A must if you are free camping for more than one day in winter and not running the engine (which charges the batteries).
Mandatory in winter road conditions.
Winter tires, insulated winter cover, shovel, external gray water tank, watering can, extra careful winter walk-through.
