A camper is mounted on a pickup truck using four straps that are attached between the camper's attachment loops and the cargo loops on the bed.
Northern Lights Campers have the center of gravity just behind the rear tires for added stability. We recommend that you reinforce the pickup's regular mounting lugs before mounting your Northern Lights Camper on your pickup. For models that have the gray water tank in the rear, the tailgate needs to be removed before loading.
The Gladiator has a low center of gravity located in the middle of the pickup's bed, which allows the load to be distributed evenly between the four attachment points of the bed. This means that the pickup's regular attachment points can normally be used. All Gladiator models have a flat underside and can be loaded onto the pickup with the tailgate still attached.
